Spicy Mami Hot Tamale: All red fIT

I've gotten so many questions about my all red outfit from my birthday road trip, I thought it would be fun to break it down for y'all and give you some ideas to recreate the look. Let's do it.

The summer flat that will save your life.

I have been so into pomp Poms and fringe lately. They’re so girly and adds the perfect amount of fun and style to every outfit. So naturally, when I saw these shoes on prettylittlething.com, I fell in love.

Summer is perfect for easy slide on sandals that are still fashionable and comfortable. I love these because they are a bright shade of red and they can be dressed up and dressed down. If you’re not a huge fan of bright colors, try these flat sandals from urbanog.com.

My new favorite playsuit

I was so apprehensive about joining the biker short trend. I have a pretty ample behind, and my legs are ample too, so I wasn’t sure if they would be flattering or if they would look crazy on me. I’ve been adding biker shorts to my cart and taking them right back out for months until I found this playsuit.

I wore this out shopping and it was extremely comfortable and cute. The v bar detail at the top gave a peek of cleavage while the cut of the shorts came right above my knee. They made my shape look heavenly and they were thick enough that I didn’t have to wear a body shaper underneath.

If you’re apprehensive about trying this trend, start by ordering some black ones and pairing them with a graphic tee and some minimal heels. The black will be slimming and you’ll have a chance to see if you like the look before you experiment with brighter colors.

I finally bought a fanny pack!

Like the playsuit, I’ve had my eyes on a few fanny packs all summer. I love purses but I hate carrying them around when it’s hot and I just want to be hands free. Fanny packs are my answered prayer. I love ones like this one because they’re sturdy and they hold a lot of little items. I was able to fit my cards, some cash, my lipgloss, some hand lotion, and my phone in this one. The only downfall to some fanny packs is that they are meant to be worn on your hips instead of on your waist. Because of this, there aren’t as many holes on the straps as I would like. For this one, I had to add an extra hole on the strap in order for it to be tight enough on my waist. Otherwise, this fanny pack is a win!

If you want to spice up your wardrobe, try the monochromatic theme. I’ve been having so much fun with it. Also, head on over to prettylittlething.com and fill up your cart! Tag me in your outfits, I’d love to see pictures if you decide to recreate any of my looks!

As always, I love you for reading!

Peace, love, and Soul
